Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist customers in removing merchandise from the bottom of the bascart for checkout.
• Help customers load bags into their cars when requested.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside the store, maintaining a safe environment.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Understand the store's layout to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any repair needs.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products.
• Report safety risks, illegal activities, and adhere to all laws and company guidelines.
