About the position

The Creative Director of Social Media at Robinhood is responsible for rethinking and enhancing the brand's global presence through innovative social media strategies. This role focuses on crafting compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with broader brand goals. The position requires a keen understanding of emerging trends and platforms to maintain a competitive edge and deepen audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the creation of strategic, brand-aligned creative initiatives based on target audience insights and industry trends.
  • Produce original and culturally resonant content across various formats such as videos, graphics, animations, and interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Social Media team to manage a comprehensive content calendar, planning strategic distribution to enhance reach and engagement.
  • Lead a team of creatives, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to foster an innovative and cooperative work environment.
  • Oversee social media initiatives from concept to execution, aligning with brand goals and KPIs, and adjusting strategies based on performance analytics.
  • Develop engagement strategies and maintain communication with the community, influencers, and partners to strengthen relationships and boost brand visibility.
  • Work with marketing, creative heads, and finance teams to oversee the social media budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and optimal return on investment.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in social media, using these insights to keep our strategies ahead of the curve and competitively relevant.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in social media or digital content creation, supported by a robust portfolio.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial problem solver with a curiosity about blending creative ideas with data-driven insights.
  • Tech-savvy and articulate, staying current with emerging patterns in social media and effectively communicating across all levels of an organization.
