About The Position

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience at a financial institution or accounting firm
  • Experience analyzing and preparing credit applications for corporate credit and financing transactions
  • Experience assessing internal risk and regulatory ratings
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Undergraduate in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related area

  • Working towards a CFA

Responsibilities

  • Support the portfolio management of the Entertainment Finance industry vertical
  • Perform due diligence and regularly scheduled evaluation of loan portfolios
  • Support preparation of detailed credit analyses and credit applications according to policy
  • Prepare modeling for transactions based on deal structures
  • Provide projections off management forecasts and create base and downside cases as necessary
  • Coordinate and communicate account information across various constituencies
  • Become knowledgeable of specific areas in which EF clients operate
  • Oversee timely receipt of client reporting and covenants compliance
  • Attend RM, client, and bank meetings when appropriate
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
  • Work within a deal team environment supporting Senior Portfolio Managers
  • Prescreen proposed transactions to identify critical structural issues and risks
  • Work on structured credit transactions
  • Assist Senior PMs to shape and influence policy development
  • Evaluate and establish appropriate ratings for transactions
