As a Credit Portfolio Manager II (CPM) in the Middle Market at TD, you will play a crucial role in the Franchise Finance Group, which is focused on expanding into new geographies and adding new franchisor brands. The Franchise Finance Group offers a comprehensive suite of financing solutions and treasury management tools tailored for experienced franchisees with multiple stores in proven concepts and middle market franchisors. The average transaction size ranges from $10 million to $150 million, with a specialization in enterprise value loans, leveraged lending, and syndicated transactions. In this role, you will be responsible for performing financial analyses necessary for making credit decisions on both new and existing business. You will support the commercial banking team by recommending credit solutions that add value to customers. Managing a designated portfolio of Middle Market commercial loans, you will ensure compliance with loan agreements, regulatory requirements, and underwriting and risk rating policies. Additionally, you will oversee the overall risk profile of the portfolio, identifying potential macro and micro risk issues early on. Your leadership will be essential as you provide people management by hiring top talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance, and promoting teamwork. You will manage complex credit activities to ensure quality performance and consistency in underwriting, while also working on larger, complex deals focused on Middle Market and specialized lending. As a consultant to business lines, you will address credit issues and processes, coordinate with Relationship Managers for financial analyses, and communicate credit decisions effectively. Your role will also involve maintaining confidentiality of credit and customer information at all times, ensuring timeliness of information, and adhering to policy for the department.
