You will interact effectively with merchants, senior underwriters, and management to ensure timely adjudication of applications while minimizing losses and assessing risks associated with fraud and other potential threats. Your responsibilities will include understanding the risks inherent in the payment processing industry, verifying the accuracy of merchant applications and supporting documentation, and applying your knowledge of fair lending issues and regulations. You will evaluate various applications to ensure compliance with laws and internal policies, interpret financial statements and tax returns, and write detailed analyses of financial health and credit findings. Additionally, you will communicate decisions clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and maintain organized digital records of all paperwork.
