About the position

The Credit Union Call Center Specialist II position is a temporary full-time role focused on providing customer support in a call center environment for a credit union in Los Angeles, CA. The specialist will handle member transactions, resolve customer issues, and maintain professionalism in a high-demand setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support over the phone in a call center environment
  • Perform member/customer transactions on checking and savings accounts and process payments
  • Focus on and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when faced with high demand/high volume workloads

Requirements

  • 2 years of call center experience within a credit union or bank
  • Previous experience opening new accounts and taking consumer loan applications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
  • Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Symitar experience preferred
