About the position

The CREO System Administrator will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and managing PTC Windchill PDMLink and CREO CAD applications. This role involves designing, developing, and modifying workflows and configurations within PDMLink and applications interfacing with PDMLink. The selected candidate will provide customer support, work closely with project stakeholders, and ensure implementations adhere to company policies. A high level of technical expertise is required to support the software quality assurance and software engineering life cycle, including conceptual design, requirements definition, functional and computer system design, systems development, programming, implementation, testing, installation, and configuration management associated with enterprise-level solutions. The position also requires monitoring current and future trends in technology to benefit organizational project and production systems service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, upgrades, and manages PTC Windchill PDMLink and CREO CAD applications.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies workflows and configurations within PDMLink.
  • Provides customer support and performs system administration functions.
  • Works closely with project stakeholders to provide technical leadership.
  • Ensures implementations adhere to company policies.
  • Supports software quality assurance and software engineering life cycle.
  • Collaborates with functional and business team members to design enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrates innovation in designing solutions and solving complex IT problems.
  • Ensures solutions are well-engineered, operable, and maintainable.
  • Monitors changes affecting the security and operational environment of systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
  • Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
  • Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered.
  • Onsite presence required (some telework possible).
  • Possible travel up to 30%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with installation, management, and user/system support of PTC applications PDMLink and CREO.
  • Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Visual Studio .NET, C#, C++, HTML5, XTML).
  • Experience with Oracle or other relational database management systems and SQL/PLSQL.
  • Familiarity with web server technologies (Microsoft IIS, NetWeaver, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat).
  • Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Visual Studio, Eclipse, Xamarin).
  • Knowledge of version control tools (GIT, SVN).
  • Effective communication skills and success in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and agile development.
