Crib Attendant

About the position

The Crib Attendant is responsible for ensuring that CribMaster vending machines are stocked with essential tools and equipment necessary for plant operations. This role involves assisting employees with tool requests, conducting inventory reports, and tracking tool usage throughout the year. The position is based on-site in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Pull tools requested by automatic CribMaster report from vending and check for accuracy.
• Label tools and fill all vending machines.
• Receive new and regrind tools daily and check part numbers for packing list and expected deliveries for the day.
• Put received tools into the appropriate bin and receive those tools in CribMaster.
• Assist employees that need tools from the main crib throughout the day.
• Report excessive tool usage.
• Perform daily cycle count of inventory items.
• Assist in yearly full inventory count.
• Assist with other projects as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with production machining equipment and processes.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Problem-solving skills.
