About the position

The Lead Agile Coach at Cricket Wireless is responsible for driving the transformation of the organization towards agile methodologies, particularly the Scrum framework. This role involves coaching and mentoring teams, leaders, and individuals to adopt agile principles and practices, ensuring the delivery of value in a timely manner. The position requires a deep understanding of agile practices and the ability to create engaging training materials to facilitate learning and growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coach individuals and teams in agile methodologies.
  • Drive transformation within the organization to enable timely delivery of value.
  • Coach the organization on enterprise-level agility concepts focused on empiricism, flow, and value.
  • Encourage the adoption of Scrum principles and an agile mindset throughout the organization.
  • Lead coaching efforts for scrum masters, product owners, and developers.
  • Guide business product ownership in maturing product management discipline.
  • Coach leadership and managers on their roles in a scrum-based organization.
  • Create engaging training materials using proven techniques for various agile topics.
  • Assist teams in developing agile value metrics for fast feedback loops.
  • Provide guidance on scrum scaling and cross-team coordination.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in agile coaching or related roles.
  • Proven mastery of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience in coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various industry scaling frameworks for agile.
  • Familiarity with training techniques such as 'Training from the Back of the Room' and Liberating Structures.
