About the position
Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN for the Cardiovascular Care Unit. The role involves managing patients post-op from open heart surgery and requires proficiency in EPIC. The successful candidate will work night shifts and be part of a weekend and holiday rotation.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients post-op from open heart surgery.
- Provide care for patients with chest tubes, pacer wires, external pacemakers, central lines, and foleys.
- Administer special drips including Amiodarone, Primacor, Cardene, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Heparin, Cardizem, and Insulin.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as a Critical Care RN
- Proficiency in EPIC with a minimum of 1 year
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass an advanced dysrhythmia test for competency assessment
