About the position

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Critical Facility Manager in Vienna, Virginia. This role is pivotal in managing Operations and Maintenance (O&M), repair, minor construction, and sustainment contracts for a Tier 3 Data Center program. The Critical Facility Manager will serve as the primary interface between the customer and the company, ensuring exceptional site leadership and customer service. The position demands a strong commitment to positive employee engagement and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements, all while meeting safety and quality performance standards. The Critical Facility Manager will oversee the performance of all duties of the CFT Shop, including personnel assigned to the shop and subcontractors performing work for the shop. This role requires a licensed master electrician or licensed master HVAC Technician. The manager will ensure that work tickets, email requests, and telephone requests for service are received and attended to promptly. Close coordination with the Government Facility Manager (GFM) regarding facility issues and requests is essential. The manager will assign tasks to shop personnel, set priorities, and monitor the timely completion of all work. Additionally, the manager will create, update, and maintain sensitive and/or classified facility information, documents, and records located on the Top Secret SCI network Facilities SharePoint, Secret Classified shared drive, and ticket systems. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires the manager to be on-site full-time during regular working hours. The Critical Facility Manager may also be issued a government smart device to facilitate communication and task management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of all duties of the CFT Shop and personnel assigned to the shop.
  • Ensure timely attendance to work tickets, email requests, and telephone requests for service.
  • Coordinate closely with the GFM regarding facility issues and requests.
  • Assign tasks to shop personnel, set priorities, and monitor timely completion of all work.
  • Evaluate and analyze work performance and outcomes.
  • Create, update, and maintain sensitive and/or classified facility information and documents.
  • Maintain records located on the Top Secret SCI network Facilities SharePoint and other classified systems.

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Licensed Master Electrician or licensed master HVAC Technician.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a facility of similar scope and size, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical qualification in Maintenance Management in a Tier 3 Data Center.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Working experience with NFPA, EPA, OSHA codes and standards.
  • Extensive experience in the operation of Building Automation Systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using CMMS is preferred.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 preferred.
