About the position

The CSW Equipment Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for writing Statements of Requirements (SORs) and collaborating with purchasing to procure Cut, Sew, Wrap (CSW) Equipment and Tooling. This role involves providing Labor/FTTO input for program pursuit quote packages for programs that include cut/sew/wrap parts. The engineer will manage tool builds and deliveries from suppliers, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to Inteva specifications. Additionally, the engineer will coordinate the delivery and installation of equipment from the cut/sew/wrap lab to manufacturing facilities. Regular interaction with Inteva team members and customers is essential, as well as providing cut/sew/wrap build concepts for new business pursuits and design guidance for product and tooling development. Business travel is mandatory to support North American sites, with 50%+ dedicated to launch travel and 20% for non-launch travel.

Responsibilities

  • Write Statements of Requirements (SORs) for CSW Equipment and Tooling.
  • Work with purchasing to procure CSW Equipment and Tooling.
  • Provide Labor/FTTO input for program pursuit quote packages.
  • Manage tool builds and deliveries from suppliers at or below budget and on time.
  • Ensure procured tools are built to Inteva specifications.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation from the cut/sew/wrap lab to manufacturing facilities.
  • Interface effectively with Inteva team members and customers.
  • Provide cut/sew/wrap build concepts for new business pursuits.
  • Provide design guidance for product and tooling development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Recent College Graduates will be considered.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
  • Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under demanding situations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mechanical skills and desire for hands-on activities.
  • Competent ability with computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication, and documentation skills.

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Good comprehension of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Good sketching and drawing abilities.
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D designs.
