About the position

Uniti Med is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. The assignment is set to begin on August 26, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic images.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the medical records.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
  • Provide patient education regarding the CT procedure and answer any questions they may have.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiology and CT.
  • Valid state license to practice as a CT Technologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel technologist role.
  • BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
