About the position
To perform routine and specialized examinations in the specialty area of CT, adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations. This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.
Requirements
- Valid CT license
- Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other recognized certifying organization
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- Strong understanding of CT technology and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred
