About the position

The Cultivation Associate is responsible for executing production plans in accordance with the company's operating procedures for cannabis cultivation. This role involves carrying out daily tasks related to the cannabis production cycle, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Cultivation Leadership to plan for growing activities consistent with production schedules.
  • Prepare space required for planned production.
  • Perform cloning tasks including cutting, rooting, transplanting, and monitoring clone care.
  • Monitor growing conditions and adjust humidity, moisture, and temperature as needed.
  • Inspect crops for quality, removing substandard or diseased plants.
  • Care for plants during vegetative and flowering phases, including trimming, staking, and pest control.
  • Handle harvesting tasks such as cutting, trimming, and weighing plants.
  • Manage the curing process for harvested flowers, ensuring proper climate control and labeling.
  • Prepare and package cannabis products during peak times, including extraction products.
  • Operate and maintain cultivation systems and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience with harvesting plants in a work or home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of weights and measurements.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to execute cultivation techniques consistently.
  • Excellent hand dexterity.
  • Previous landscaping, horticulture, or agriculture experience is a plus.
