Customer Care Desk Associate

About the position

The Customer Care Desk Associate at Blain's Farm & Fleet is responsible for managing the store's phone and switchboard, assisting customers with returns, inquiries, and complaints, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. This role involves various tasks including handling e-commerce orders, maintaining the customer service desk, and complying with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Run the store phone/switchboard.
• Assist customers with returns, questions, complaints, and directions around the store.
• Scan returned goods and place them into bins/shopping carts for return to the department.
• Route mail and file paperwork.
• Issue Hunting and Fishing licenses.
• Cashier duties.
• Manage incoming e-commerce customer orders and in-store pickups.
• Keep the Customer Service Desk clean and presentable.
• Help in other departments as assigned.
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies.

Requirements

• Great communication skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass a background check.
