About the position

The Fluid Power Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their fluid power needs. This position involves extensive interaction with customers to clarify their requirements, research and recommend appropriate parts, provide quotes, and process orders. The representative will support various clients, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and industrial companies, primarily through phone communication in a service and parts center environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to clarify their needs and recommend solutions.
• Research and recommend fluid power components and related products.
• Provide quotes and take orders from customers.
• Support OEMs, industrial companies, and engineering firms with their fluid power requirements.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customer service and sales.
• 3+ years of industrial and/or distribution knowledge.
• 3+ months of experience with mobile or industrial hydraulic components.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluid power certification or degree.
