The Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in supporting the store management team by performing a variety of tasks that enhance the customer experience. The associate must comply with federal and state laws, particularly when selling restricted products like tobacco and alcohol. Stocking and refilling products in designated areas, preparing made-to-order food and beverages, and ensuring cleanliness in food service areas are also key responsibilities. The associate must follow safety and quality assurance processes, complete housekeeping tasks, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and excellent customer service skills. The associate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be willing to learn and apply Wawa's safety and quality assurance procedures. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and tolerating exposure to cleaning products.
