The CSR will work collaboratively within a larger team to ensure that all consumer financial information is accurately verified and that billing codes align with the services provided. This position requires attention to detail, as the CSR must ensure that note headings are congruent with the services billed before posting. Additionally, the CSR will provide follow-up to the Customer Service Manager (CSM) and the clinic director to ensure compliance with the 'Notes on Time' policy, which is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to company standards. As a non-direct service position, the CSR will also assist in managing front office responsibilities, contributing to the overall functionality of the office environment. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of information and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely. The CSR will be expected to handle various office procedures, including typing, filing, and operating office machines, which requires a solid foundation in office management skills. The position offers opportunities for growth, with eligibility for a rate increase after 90 days and annual evaluations based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical staff on posting schedules.

  • Confirm all billing codes are correct prior to posting.

Requirements

  • High School Education required.
  • Experience working in a medical office billing services is a plus.
  • Must be experienced in all office procedures, including typing and filing.
  • Computer experience required and knowledgeable of the operation of all office machines.
