About the position

As a Customer Service Representative Fueler/Washer at Penske, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and safe before they hit the road. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing them with a positive experience as they arrive and depart. The role offers an opportunity to learn about vehicle maintenance processes and advance your career within the company, even if you have no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to check tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items.
• Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates.
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations established by Penske management.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
