The Customer Service Representative at Corner Home Medical plays a vital role in assisting clients with durable medical equipment needs. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service in a retail setting, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support and information to help them stay in their homes as long as possible. The representative will engage with customers face-to-face, manage sales and orders, and verify insurance information, all while contributing to the growth of a family-owned business dedicated to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with retail sales and orders.
• Be knowledgeable of supplies, prices, and reimbursement.
• Obtain insurance information and verify according to company guidelines.
• Key all documentation into the computer and verify all information for completeness and accuracy.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in medical terminology, medical billing, or related fields is helpful but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette skills.
• Proven ability to stay organized and multi-task successfully with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Experience within the medical field is preferred but not required.
