About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Signature Aviation plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service within the fixed base operation (FBO). This position involves interacting with visitors and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner, handling concierge services, and managing customer transactions accurately. The CSR is expected to work collaboratively with the team to meet customer needs while maintaining a high level of concentration and accuracy in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a friendly welcome to all visitors at Signature.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and customers to meet service needs.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
  • Process customer purchases and fuel transactions accurately.
  • Maintain knowledge of Signature's facilities and services.
  • Replenish beverages and supplies as per facility standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections for cleanliness and compliance.
  • Provide concierge services such as hotel reservations and transportation arrangements.
  • Assist pilots with airport and weather information.
  • Help visitors with luggage and assist line service personnel as needed.
  • Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
  • Recommend improvements to standards and procedures to management.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and courtesy to everyone.
  • Comply with security protocols as dictated by Signature and the airport.
  • Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid state license required where applicable.
  • Professional appearance is necessary.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Ability to complete Signature's training programs successfully.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and email usage.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three to six months of experience in aviation, FBO, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols.
