About the position

We are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service to patients and assist with inquiries related to healthcare services. This role involves answering calls, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with medical staff to address patient concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from patients and provide information on services.
  • Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
  • Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
  • Maintain patient records accurately in the system.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to address patient concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Comfortable using computerized systems for data entry and retrieval.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a call center for at least 1 year.
  • Customer service experience for at least 1 year.
