About the position

The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional customer service and support ticketing operations within the performing arts industry. This role involves managing ticket sales, assisting patrons, and ensuring smooth operations during events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Tessitura ticketing system.
  • Update and alter accounts, including processing ticket exchanges and payments.
  • Maintain knowledge of concert event details, ticket types, pricing, and hall section maps.
  • Look up and sell tickets for events on new and existing accounts.
  • Handle incoming calls and assist patrons and staff with questions and information in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Assist with concert preparations, such as printing will-call tickets and updating seating reports.
  • Process online orders and manage last-minute seat changes.
  • Assemble ticket packets and handle other mailings as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with ticketing systems, particularly Tessitura, is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle phone inquiries.
  • Familiarity with ticket sales processes and general office policies.
  • Ability to sit, use hands, reach, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift or move up to 10 pounds.
