About The Position

The Customer Support and Sales Manager at Safran Electrical & Power is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth within the Power and Ventilation divisions. This role integrates customer support and sales development into a cohesive team, focusing on maximizing business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a high level of service to customers. The position requires a proactive approach to customer relations and sales forecasting, with a significant emphasis on maintaining and developing customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in Customer and/or Sales in a similar industry.
  • Experience in the aerospace and airline industry.
  • Experience in OE or MRO and aftermarket activities.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%+).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales budget and forecast for Power and Ventilation divisions.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposals with customers.
  • Report to management on customer support and sales activities.
  • Manage the customer base in the designated zone to maximize business opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key individuals within customer organizations.
  • Propose recovery plans for customer satisfaction issues.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain a structured communication and visit schedule with customers.
  • Participate in the annual Sales Forecast for the territory.
  • Sell all MRO capabilities effectively.
  • Monitor fleet evolution to identify sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and negotiate ad-hoc offers and contracts with customers.
  • Generate market information to support future sales planning.
  • Propose strategic product and service developments for sales growth.
  • Provide customers with Initial Provisioning recommendations and secure related sales.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers.
  • Manage customer visits and satisfaction reports.
  • Follow up on overdue customer actions.
