About the position

Join our team as a User Experience Designer, where you'll create low and high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes under the guidance of Lead and Senior UX Designers. You'll also contribute to user research and prototype testing efforts. This role offers opportunities to enhance your skills and collaborate with cross-functional teams. If you're passionate about understanding customers and influencing product and design decisions, this is the role for you. Hybrid: Eight days a month we come together in the closest office within 50 miles to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will report to the Lead UX Designer and work under the leadership of the Director, CX/UX Design with the BU of DXG | UX/CX COE - Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Create user flows, storyboards, low-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes with moderate supervision.
  • Develop high-fidelity designs in Figma based on user research, design systems, and developer feedback. Assist in creating documentation.
  • Learn and adopt our design and user research processes.
  • Participate in user research interviews, help synthesize data, and analyze findings.
  • Iterate and refine design solutions based on user research.
  • Partner with product managers, product owners, and developers to align user needs with business goals.
  • Present designs, prototypes, and research findings to peers and stakeholders.
  • Familiarize yourself with our design system, promote its use, and contribute new components and variants.
  • Work within an Agile Scrum team, estimating and tracking UX work in Agile epics and stories.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years experience as a UX Designer
  • Proficient in interaction and visual interface design
  • Experience designing complex applications for professionals
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Have an online portfolio showcasing your abilities. Be ready to explain your processes, role, and outcomes.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 20%)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate skills in creating detailed wireframes and user flows.
  • Ability to create complex interactive prototypes in Figma that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Competence in conducting user research and synthesizing findings.
  • Skills in iterating design solutions based on user feedback and prototype testing outcomes.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including working with developers to support implementation of designs.
  • Ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of using and maintaining design systems.
