About the position

The Cyber Operations Specialist role at SYSTOLIC is designed for experienced professionals in cybersecurity operations, focusing on hands-on vulnerability assessments and technical evaluations to mitigate threats. The position requires a strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to analyze and respond to emerging cyber threats. This role is critical in supporting the Intelligence Community's mission by ensuring robust cybersecurity measures are in place.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on interactive vulnerability assessments to mitigate threats.
• Provide technical assessments of applications and infrastructure, including security design reviews and risk assessments.
• Perform information security event analysis and apply network defense tactics and techniques.
• Assess information network threats such as computer viruses, exploits, and malicious attacks.
• Collaborate with a team to research and analyze current and emerging cyber threats, defining requirements and testing concepts.
• Participate in the system engineering life-cycle to enhance mission resiliency against cyber threats.
• Review and produce technical documentation regarding requirements, analysis, design, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in conducting cybersecurity operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related STEM discipline.
• IAT Level 3 certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH) required.
• Knowledge and expertise in security best practices, vulnerability analysis, and network defense tactics.
