About The Position

As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer (CSSE) at Lockheed Martin, you will be integral in securing mission-critical systems, particularly focusing on F-35 Training & Logistics. This role involves designing and developing cybersecurity solutions, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with engineers to ensure robust security measures are integrated throughout the system lifecycle. You will also perform cybersecurity testing and support compliance with cybersecurity standards, all while working in a collaborative environment that values innovation and diverse perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with no experience required.
• Relevant cybersecurity/information assurance/IT experience.
• Understanding of networks, firewalls, and Windows device configurations.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
• DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II or ability to achieve certification within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8).
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Ability to create automated processes through scripting using Python, PowerShell, Java, etc.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V).
