About the position

Destiny Dance Center is seeking an experienced dance instructor to join our team for our 20th season. The role focuses on teaching dance to students in a Christian environment, emphasizing strong technique and personal development. The instructor will play a vital role in shaping the students' dance skills and character, ensuring they have a positive role model to look up to.

Responsibilities

• Teach dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on strong technique and personal growth.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance skills.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment for all students.
• Act as a role model for students, demonstrating the values of hard work and dedication.

Requirements

• 1 year of dance teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and parents.
• A passion for helping students reach their goals in dance and life.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in various dance styles.
• Background in Christian teachings or values.
