About the position
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time early career Data Analyst Engineer. This role involves creating interactive data analytic dashboards to measure and improve operational performance, collecting and analyzing data to provide insightful information to key stakeholders, and completing ad-hoc research requests. The successful candidate will apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across teams to drive the implementation of solutions, enabling quick and accurate decision-making for execution teams and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Create interactive data analytic dashboards to measure and improve operational performance.
- Collect and analyze data to communicate insightful information to key stakeholders.
- Complete ad-hoc research requests and brief investigatory findings.
- Apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across teams.
- Provide information that enables quick and accurate decision-making for execution teams and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Data Analytics experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Inventory Management.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Programming experience with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C#, Java, Python, etc.
- Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes.
- Project Management or Root-Cause Corrective-Action (RCCA) experience.
