About the position

The Data Analyst position at STS Systems Support, LLC (SSS) is focused on supporting the Air Force Installation & Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) in enhancing its Real Estate Services and Real Property Management and Engineering Services. The role involves collaborating with data science and analyst teams to improve data practices, manage asset performance, and develop real estate principles. The successful candidate will provide analytical support, manage large datasets, and facilitate the integration of various database tools to optimize processes and reporting for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support in interpreting, analyzing, reporting, and implementing key data from Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR).
• Analyze Real Estate data, aggregate requirements, assess asset performance predictions, validate data, and compile summarizing reports for Real Estate Services portfolios.
• Support integration of multiple database tools and develop dashboard exports for reporting cycles.
• Work with the Real Estate Management Team to analyze databases for requirements validation and reporting metrics.
• Manage large dataset APSR information compilation and reporting across multiple projects.
• Assist with Real Estate requirement submission and process improvement support.
• Improve data confidence through quality assurance checks and data reviews.
• Facilitate resolution to technical and programmatic issues.
• Develop informative graphs, charts, datasets, and comparative analysis.
• Generate finished product reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field such as math, statistics, data analysis, data science, engineering, IT, or computer science.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, Python, and/or other database querying including ETL automation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps Canvas.
• Understanding of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and ability to communicate data insights effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently develop professional deliverables.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Air Force FM Systems such as BEAST, FASTR, NexGen.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Excel, or Python.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning techniques in Python or R.
• Experience with Air Force database structures including APSR and ACES-RP.
• Experience in a customer service or contractor environment.
• Air Force experience preferred.
• Background in engineering, math, statistics, or information systems.
• Existing NAC-I clearance or ability to receive clearance.
