As a Data Analytics Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to our exceptional team. Our Data Analytics team is responsible for creating automated, big-data-driven, standardized dashboards that serve as a source of truth for IT processes. These dashboards not only provide a comprehensive organizational overview but also facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in transforming raw data into user-friendly, transparent performance review boards that support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and IT Business Processes.
  • Learn about customer service in a technical environment and fulfill our customers' requests.
  • Support our partners by providing solutions and enabling them to reach their goals.
  • Ensure the right level of service quality and provide early warnings for any major failures.
  • Assist in predicting future trends based on data.
  • Learn about and maintain the correct logic of calculation that reflects process-related definitions.
  • Assist in end-to-end developments using MS Power BI, MS Excel, and other tools.
  • Learn and follow agile, transparent working methods.
  • Assist in self-service problem management support for network root cause analysis.
  • Complete tasks documented in the task tracker within designated target dates while adhering to the highest quality standards.
  • Assist in testing and corrections.
  • Join a collaborative team that values support and fosters a culture of ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • Preferred work experience in IT business management operations.
  • Interest in reporting and IT data management.
  • Advanced level skills in MS tools, especially MS Excel (Power BI skills are a plus).
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts is an advantage.
