About The Position

The Data Analytics & Platform Engineering Architect plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Enterprise IT needs and technological solutions. This position focuses on enhancing IT capabilities through the use of Cloud technologies, data analytics, AI, and ML. The architect collaborates with IT and business leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring the smooth implementation of new technologies to support growth and optimize operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Architecture and solution development, particularly in Fortune 500 or Big 5 consulting companies.
• Verifiable experience in building Data Management solutions, including ingestion & data engineering, modeling, reporting & visualization across various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.
• Proven experience of driving transformation from legacy data and analytics systems to Cloud-based modern data architectures.
• Deep experience of enabling new platforms in terms of defining strategy, governance, enablement tooling, standards & best practices.
• Strong exposure to AI and GenAI, leveraging them to provide operational insights.
• Visible expertise in guiding development teams and crafting technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Proficiency in application migrations and modernizing applications on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to senior executives and technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience in software implementations, upgrades, and migrations in healthcare environments with PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Experience with global multi-site teams.
• Recognized thought leader with the ability to remain technology-agnostic and focus on achieving business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant across a broad range of technologies to drive targeted IT upliftment outcomes within Data & Analytics systems, Platform Engineering, and Low Code enablement.
• Provide expert analysis, research, and design of technical solutions that enhance key IT capabilities: Data Management, Reporting & Analytics, and Platform Engineering.
• Lead technical decision-making for application teams and initiative stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise and solution architectures, particularly in BI & Data Analytics.
• Build effective relationships and collaborate with IT and Business leaders to align roadmaps with operational decisions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable architectural blueprints to achieve business objectives.
• Define architectural principles and solution patterns to ensure optimal use of technology within the domain.
• Stay current with industry technology trends to research and strategize the implementation of new or alternative technologies.
• Assess organizational and financial impacts of proposed architectural solutions.
• Oversee governance activities to ensure compliance with architecture, development, security, and resiliency standards.
• Maintain a clear view of the Data Analytics and Digital Automation technical landscape to provide actionable insights.
