About the position

As a Data Asset Manager Contractor at Sports Research Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital assets related to dietary supplements and health & wellness products. This position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting at our San Pedro, CA location. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all digital assets, including images, videos, graphics, and documents, are properly tagged, categorized, and stored in our Amplify Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This will facilitate easy access and retrieval for various teams within the organization. You will be tasked with maintaining metadata standards and enforcing best practices for asset management. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with the Brand Marketing, Design, and Production Teams to manage the lifecycle of digital assets from their creation to archival. This includes facilitating the distribution of digital assets to both internal and external stakeholders as needed. You will also be responsible for reporting any issues related to digital assets and the DAM system, ensuring that all processes are documented through a written Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cross-training purposes. Additionally, you will manage version control, ensuring that outdated or redundant assets are archived or deleted appropriately. Your role will also involve assisting in the development of processes aimed at streamlining the management and usage of digital assets, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s digital asset management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital assets including images, videos, graphics, and documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
