About the position

As the Maintenance Technician at Colliers, you will work at a high-profile Data Center, responsible for maintenance work during both the construction phase and the go-live phase of a new data center build. This role requires a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You will quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. A strong work ethic and a positive, customer-centric approach are essential, whether responding to emergency requests, working through light construction projects, or conducting regular inspections. The working schedule includes 12-hour Day and Night Shifts available (7pm - 7am).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete system and building repairs and preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner.
• Respond to and complete work orders and projects to customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in building/property maintenance.
• Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems, and other building mechanical equipment.
• A valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel).

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum OSHA 10 hour - General Industry Safety Training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems.
• Experience with painting, drywall, and light carpentry/construction projects.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
