Data Center Operations Technician

We're looking for a Data Center Operations Technician in Pittsburgh, PA to support high-performance computing (HPC) and AI-driven solutions. Responsibilities

• Responding to customer requests and performing technical tasks on their behalf
• Installing customer equipment in racks (rack & stack)
• Setting up cabinets, fiber raceways, and installing cages
• Running fiber and coax cross-connects, following proper termination techniques
• Conducting carrier circuit testing and troubleshooting
• Monitoring and responding to alarm notifications
• Ensuring accurate tracking and labeling of equipment
• Assisting with inventory management and system maintenance

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related experience (technical training or a 2-year degree is a plus!)
• Ability to read installation drawings (Visio, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Knowledge of safe working practices (PPE, ladder safety, tool handling)
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• A team player with a strong work ethic and accountability
