About The Position

The Operational Security Specialist Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) will support the Data Center team by driving operational security excellence. This role involves writing reports, creating presentations, and communicating with management regarding the status of physical security operations within the Data Centers. The internship lasts for 12 weeks and is based in London, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a critical area of security operations.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a College/University pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice or a relevant field.
• Expected graduation between December 2025 and September 2026.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of access control and video surveillance software applications (e.g., LENEL or C-cure).
• Interest in investigating accidents, thefts, disturbances, and discrepancies.
• Desire to observe security gaps in physical barriers and procedures.
• Ability to write detailed reports.
