Responsibilities

  • Design and build data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach team members, leveraging their unique strengths and managing performance.
  • Engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders, addressing conflicts or issues as they arise.
  • Uphold professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematical Statistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Experience with machine learning and data science workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
