About The Position

The Data Engineer at Crocs, Inc. is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures within the Azure platform. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in data engineering, specifically with modern ETL/ELT tools on cloud platforms like Data Factory or Azure Databricks.
• 2 years of experience with Power BI business analytics tool.
• 2 years of experience with SQL and Python/Python packages, particularly PySpark.
• 1 year of experience in an Agile project framework environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Data Modeling and executing a framework for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Develop ETL/ELT processes and patterns for efficient data movement using batch processing.
• Adhere to engineering best practices, including test-driven development and agile management.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of developed pipelines.
• Stay updated on trends in BI and analytics, demonstrating interest in data science and machine learning.
• Develop subject matter expertise in key business areas and act as a liaison between engineering and front end.
• Review and provide guidance on requirements for engineers.
• Convey complex ideas in simple terms and provide technical solutions to meet business needs.
