We're the only U.S.-made infant formula to use organic, grass-fed whole milk, the first and only U.S. infant formula company to add the two most abundant proteins found in breast milk-alpha-lac and lactoferrin-to our ingredients list, and the first infant formula company to receive Clean Label Project's Purity Award (and we test for 700 contaminants vs the required 400). We ran the largest clinical trial by a new infant formula brand in 25 years-clinically proving our benefits vs a leading infant formula like: less spit up, softer poops, easier digestion, more efficient weight gain, enhanced nutrient absorption, and longer stretches between nighttime feeds. Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement for our analytics tools & platforms
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance to ensure scalable and reliable analytics solutions
• Align data strategies with business objectives and KPIs
• Evangelize a data driven philosophy for decision making and support the broader use of analytics
• Maintain and develop our analytical environment including data marts that drive actionable analytics insights across the company
• Build data solutions including, but not limited to, new pipelines, dashboards, data marts and ad hoc data pulls to address business asks coming from variety of stakeholders
• Handle data-related ad hoc requests and work assignments not related to specific project work, including but not limited to, new feature development, external data research, investigations into new tools and emerging trends, etc.
• Participate in project teams as the SME for data acquisition, modeling and transformation who enables reporting and analysis for business stakeholders
• Support professional development efforts to raise the bar for analytics capabilities and data proficiency across the enterprise

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in data engineering function with a track record of turning raw data into actionable insights and business value
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment with omnichannel presence, delivering on priorities and projects with minimal oversight
• Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate levels of thinking and work with stakeholders from different functions and management levels
• Expert level proficiency in SQL and BigQuery
• Advanced expertise with the broader Google Cloud platform capabilities
• Strong competence in dbt and github for code management & deployment
• Experience with custom development and ad hoc analysis (e.g. Python)
• Familiarity with 3rd party integration tools (e.g. FiveTran, Stitch)
• Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (Looker preferred)
• Technical writing and documentation of models, flows and architecture
