About the position

The Data Governance Analyst position at MS-MSDH is a new full-time role focused on ensuring the integrity, security, and usability of data across the organization. The analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles and practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to promote data stewardship and compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will work closely with IT, compliance, and business units to establish data quality standards and metrics, monitor data usage, and ensure that data governance practices are adhered to throughout the organization. This includes conducting data audits, identifying data quality issues, and recommending solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability. The Data Governance Analyst will also play a key role in training staff on data governance policies and best practices, fostering a culture of data accountability and stewardship. In addition to technical skills, the analyst must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The position is expected to evolve over time, with opportunities for growth and increased responsibility as the organization's data governance initiatives mature.

Requirements
