The Data Governance & Controls Associate Vice President (AVP) will support the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) in defining, maintaining, and executing the Data Management Integrated Control Framework (DMICF) across the enterprise. The DMICF details data and reporting control minimum standards across the Production, Aggregation, and Consumption Layers of our Enterprise Data Management Architecture (EDMA) and was developed to enhance/improve data quality with heightened standards and ultimately mitigate against a definitive set of data risks. In aggregate, the framework represents standards of care (i.e., requirements) with controls working in synergy to ensure reliable, quality, timely, and fit-for-purpose data. The AVP will coordinate the definition of requirements, communication, training, tooling, and executing the DMICF with the respective Report Content Owners, Report Production Owners, Independent Subject Matter Experts, Data Officers, etc. across each MUFG Line of Business and Function. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or related fields.
