As a Data Group Manager within PNC's Enterprise Data Governance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. In this role, you will lead the data quality strategy in conjunction with Sector Data Officers/LOBs and Technology. You will be responsible for the selection and implementation of data quality tools and building capabilities for stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee the build-out of data quality for key enterprise initiatives and manage the Data Quality (DQ) team and resources. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for planning, designing, and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner. You will provide senior leadership, direction, and methodology for the analysis, structure, and storage of critical organizational data. This includes overseeing the integrity, infrastructure, maintenance, and extraction of organizational data. You will assist in the development of major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated and met. Furthermore, you will review and recommend policies and procedures for collecting and managing organizational data, ensuring that PNC's values of customer focus, risk management, and inclusive leadership are upheld.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Experience leading a strategy direction for a given effort
  • Good blend of technology and business skills
  • Demonstrated partnership with technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in data mining and data analytics
  • Experience in machine learning and root cause analysis
