About the position

The Data Modeler (PL/SQL) position is a contract role focused on data design, analysis, and development, primarily utilizing PL/SQL and ETL tools. The role requires extensive experience in database management systems, data modeling, and API design, with a strong emphasis on data profiling and warehouse management. This hybrid position allows for work in various locations including Boston, MA, Nashua, NH, NYC, and Providence, RI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models to support business requirements.
• Implement and manage database systems and data warehouses.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and extraction.
• Conduct data profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions.
• Develop and implement data APIs for data access and integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in data design, analysis, and development.
• Strong development experience in PL/SQL and ETL tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Database Management Systems and data modeling.
• Experience in data API design and implementation.
