About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, financial services, information technology, or data governance.
  • Strong understanding of Data Management, including Data Lineage, Metadata, Data Quality, and Issue Management.
  • Experience with large data initiatives and aligning business processes with data.
  • Knowledge of data management processes, tools, and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of structured/unstructured databases and data governance tools.
  • Demonstrated relationship management and advisory skills with stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of data governance issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing data initiatives including analysis, planning, and execution.
  • Good presentation, business writing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team and maintain adequate staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across lines of business and functions to ensure development & execution of suitable tools for efficient operating models.
  • Identify end-to-end data flow, ensuring compliance with new policies and standards.
  • Provide insights into business processes and critical data elements across systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Stewards to enhance data management and trustworthiness.
  • Lead the direction and implementation of data requirements and standards.
  • Align key data capabilities with data and system process flows.
  • Remediate data concerns and monitor data quality issues.
  • Create effective presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Manage strategic design and process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement processes and technologies for data obligations.
  • Lead meetings to address issues and risks, escalating potential barriers as needed.
  • Prepare and present status updates and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Monitor metrics and key performance indicators related to Data Quality and Controls.
  • Ensure sound program/project management for the Data portfolio.
