About The Position

The Data Entry Operator / Manufacturing Technician plays a crucial role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on biometric data products. This position involves significant data entry work, ensuring accuracy and security in handling sensitive information. The role is permanent and offers a key staff member opportunity within a leading biometric security integration manufacturer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; post high school education or vocational training is highly desired.
  • Must be able to work in a Federally regulated work environment (banking industry).
  • At least one year of database or closely related data entry experience in a production environment is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections of products accurately.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential; comfort with computers is necessary as all machinery interfaces with computers.
  • Legible handwriting and ability to write neatly and concisely are required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including basic formulas, pivot tables, and vLookups, are necessary.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, and carry materials.

Responsibilities

  • Input, update, and maintain data in the secure database using MS Excel and other systems.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, correcting or reporting discrepancies.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and normalization for structured analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits of data to identify and resolve accuracy or integrity issues.
  • Assist in generating and preparing reports, charts, and other data-driven documents for internal teams.
  • Regularly update and maintain data systems to ensure proper functionality and currency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth data workflows and support various business needs.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with care, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
