About the position

The Data Scientist (Senior) position is located in Springfield, VA and requires TS/SCI clearance. The role involves supporting NSG strategies through the creation of automated collection models, dynamic analytic models, workflow automations, and other automation processes and products as assigned. The candidate will refine, enhance, and improve the operational performance of automated solutions by evaluating performance data, engaging in regular customer interactions, and adhering to a standardized maintenance cycle. Additionally, the role requires applying data science and visual programming tradecraft to streamline analysis tasks as identified by stakeholders and the Government. The candidate will also enhance technical solutions to address problems related to IC intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualization. Extensive collections and analytic modeling, as well as data processing, are key components of this position.

Responsibilities

• Support NSG strategies through the creation of automated collection models and dynamic analytic models.
• Implement workflow automations and other automation processes and products as assigned.
• Refine, enhance, and improve the operational performance of automated solutions.
• Evaluate performance data and engage in regular customer interactions.
• Apply data science and visual programming tradecraft to streamline analysis tasks.
• Enhance technical solutions related to IC intelligence integration and automated collections.
• Conduct extensive collections and analytic modeling and data processing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools.
• Experience with visual programming tools such as JEMA, FADE/MIST, ECO/ETAS.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Git.
• Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker and AWS Cloud.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of statistics including descriptive and Bayesian statistics.
• Experience with Markov-Chain modeling and TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of Linear Algebra, R, SAS, and NLP.
