About the position

The Data Scientist (The Data Whisperer) role is designed for data enthusiasts who excel at uncovering insights from large datasets. This position focuses on building predictive models and utilizing data to solve complex business problems, ultimately driving critical business decisions. The Data Scientist will collaborate with a talented team to leverage machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization to inform product development and marketing strategies, thereby shaping the company's future direction.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Build and deploy predictive models to solve business challenges, such as customer segmentation and demand forecasting.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize product features and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and apply new methodologies to improve model performance.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Expertise in creating impactful data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models.
