About The Position

As a Data Transformation Specialist / Database Developer at CACI, you will be instrumental in modernizing legacy data tools for the U.S. Navy Self Defense Systems Division. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data management and accessibility, ensuring efficient data transformation and system integration.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum bachelor's degree in a field related to computer or information science.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience building database solutions and performing similar work.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases and SQL for querying, design, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, transformation, and database design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, VBA, JavaScript, or Power Fx.
• Certifications or training certificates relating to Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or related technologies.
• Experience in developing solutions for cross-team sharing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power BI) or similar tools (Tableau, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage data transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess legacy tools to develop modern, scalable database solutions.
• Lead transformation efforts to transition data into optimal formats for relational databases.
• Develop, configure, and manage SharePoint Lists and other data storage solutions.
• Design and implement front-end applications using Microsoft PowerApps.
• Create dynamic dashboards with Microsoft Power BI to visualize data insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize database structures and ensure data accuracy and integrity during the transformation process.
• Build analytical tools for advanced reporting and decision-making insights.
