About the position

Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement. AT&T has an opening for a Database Administrator to support Public Sector Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, and Oracle database clusters and AWS RDS instances.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot databases on multiple networks using multiple architectures.
  • Perform Windows and Linux patching.
  • Mitigate security issues.
  • Evaluate performance of overall database services and specific slow running queries.
  • Manage database backup, backup verification, and restore processes.
  • Document processes.
  • Troubleshoot reported service support issues.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience supporting MS SQL, MariaDB, and/or Oracle databases.
  • Experience with backup and recovery processes.
  • Experience with index and performance management.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with instances and applications.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams in support of a common mission.
  • Effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of AWS services, specifically RDS.
  • Experience with PowerShell/Python scripting to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Exposure to Commvault backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server AlwaysOn.
  • Knowledge of Windows Event Log Filtering.
  • Knowledge of Windows Task Scheduler Setup and Management.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint implementations.
